What is Multiverse

 Before diving deep into the concept let’s talk about simple astronomy. 

What is a universe? I know most people will just skip as they are either afraid of cosmos or are just uninterested. Here we will not talk about the universe from astronomy perspective using complex words like dark matter, anti matter, energy etc ,rather we will consider universe as everything we see around ourselves.(from a reality perspective)

We live on earth which is a planet inside a galaxy. A galaxy is a group of planets ,stars(like sun), meteors, asteroids etc. Many galaxies together form a cluster and many clusters together form the observable universe, observable because it is still expanding and we don't know where it's end is. Other meaning being observable is what you see, unaware of other planets just talking about earth or at a smaller extent only about your locality.

So, there is one universe where we live, where all our friends, family members live. This universe has some laws of physics which we assume it to be true. Yes, your home or your city can be considered as your universe.

Now, Multi verse means that there exists more than one universes.

There exists a bubble theory saying that universe is just one big bubble of reality(everything you see around yourself, everything you feel is your reality) and, there exists more such bubbles where our laws of physics as we know are altered . All existing parallel to each other. This is just a hypothesis as there are no such proofs of it.

The concept of multiverse is shown in some movies. They used it sometimes to show a completely different world which seemed fantasy to us. Fantasy world can be just a picture of another universe.

For example, there may exist a universe where witches exist(harry potter), one where there is an intra galactic war going on with highly equipped weapons(somewhat like star wars).

All that you think can possibly exist either in your universe or in some other. As there are infinite universes and infinite realities.

Marvel comics has mastered the concept of multiverse. It has one main universe(referred to as the sacred timeline) where there is an earth, this earth is numbered as earth 616 and, there are more universes where same people have different personalities and roles.

Like an ordinary person can be a billionaire in some universe and a superhero in some other or an animal in yet another universe.

For now, let’s just take multiverse as a concept of fantasy which opens infinite ways for us to think. Whatever rubbish you think ,can exist.

Your crush proposing you, you giving ted talks and your name in Forbes magazine, you being a media influencer and so on.....
